The HTC Incredible 2, my old phone and trusted ally for about 2 years had its pros and cons. It's a good solid phone sadly though not much going for it. Developers won't touch it, Cyanogenmod dropped any further support, and just when things were about to get bright by HTC bringing a little slice of ICS that development hit a stalemate. The last build I ran on it was an unofficial 4.1 AOKP rom. It ran fairly decent, the only major issue was the camera but it was an issue for all ICS and JB builds. I love this phone it wasn't the best but it gave me my first lesson in tasting the future coming from an older touchscreen phone the LG Chocolate I was already used to typing with an on-screen keyboard and touching and swiping, but Android was different everything was so smooth, the keyboard wasn't as clumsy, and the response was so much faster, if this was the future then I was in love. I'm especially happy that my first experience with Android was a good one many Android users blame the OS for the issues revolving around their phone and I always explain to them that sometimes it's not the OS sometimes it's just the phone or the bloatware the networks through on there and most of the time I'm right. I'm glad I never had that experience my experience was one of knowledge I wanted to learn how to do everything and anything on it. I wanted to customize it whatever way I saw fit which was something I saw the iPhone lacked. I love that just about everything on my Android is customizable from text to icons to colours. In fact it's more customizable than my PC which is funny because my PC is supposed to be more personal than that. I loved my Incredible 2 and maybe one day HTC will release that update but if they don't it'll still be a great phone.

Farewell Aaron Swartz
Aaron Swartz was a brilliant man, sadly as I'm not as well researched in the ways of the web knew almost nothing of the man until I learned of his death earlier today. He was one of the co-founders of Reddit, a website I love dearly and visit more often than my own Facebook. He was also one of the many that campaigned against those oppressive SOPA/PIPA bills. I've been reading so much about him and quite honestly I'm sad that the Internet lost one of it's finest and best allies.
This man isn't a felon he's a hero and should be treated as such by all, he fought bravely and will forever be missed. So long Aaron the internet is a better place thanks to you and you will forever be remembered by the great things you've done for the net.

Rethinking Journalism
It used to be a common misconception that the Internet was in competition with journalism. For some reason popular news sights were viewed as cheap knock offs of printed magazines and news papers.
Today this couldn't be further from the truth as sites like BoingBoing and Reddit have much more clout and social impact than the Wall street Journal or New York times could ever imagine.
This got us thinking that now is the best time for something awesome. We want to report on the topics that interest us. Discus issues that matter. Hopefully you'll want to join us. Stay tuned for awesomeness...
Come on, you apes! You wanna live forever?
